Manna Dey Famous playback and classical singer, in Bengali, Hindi and many other languages, India. One of the all-time greats.

It is one my regrets that there are no strong initiatives to document the life and activities of national treasures such as Kishore Kumar, Sachin Dev Burman, and Manna dey. For Manna Dey, at least we have his completed autobiography "Jeeboner Jolsaghorey". There is another book on compiled essays on Manna Dey in which the artist himself was involved.
